How To / Tutorials

First shut off angle stop on bottom left hand side of toilet.  Put small pan under valve and disconnect supply line from toilet allowing water to drain into pan.  Flush toilet one last time emptying tank of water.  Plunge toilet bowl flushing remaining water into sewer.  Remove caps on sides of bowl with a Flathead screwdriver or scrapper popping caps off.  Then undo nuts and lift washers off bolts.  Remove existing toilet and carry outside.  Scrape sewer flange clean.  Make sure sewer flange is level with floor or within a quarter inch in either direction.  If not hardware stores sell a white plastic spacer to raise flange to needed height.  It sits on top of flange and is held down by the bolts.  With sewer flange at proper height install your wax ring, pressing it firmly to the sewer flange.  Install toilet bowl by carefully setting it over flange, lining bolts up with holes in the toilet bowl.  Firmly press bowl down to floor, sealing wax ring to toilet.  Install nuts and washers that came with toilet.  Then install tank to the bowl with the hardware supplied.  Make sure not to over tighten tank to the bowl as you may crack the tank.  Tighten each bolt a little at time jummping back and forth from left to right bolt until snug.  Connect supply line to tank and turn angle stop on.  Lastly install the seat to the bowl with supplied hardware and your finished.

Our first website was quirky and fun, but didn't turn out to do what we needed. That being said, it's way too entertaining to go to waste! Check it out!
