Weak Water Pressure

Limescale often builds up in the shower head, leading to woefully weak water pressure. This can be an easy fix. Unscrew the shower head and soak it in a solution that breaks down the limescale (many people use white vinegar, as it’s free of chemical solvents). After soaking it for 10-15 minutes, scrub it with a brush. Once you no longer see the limescale, screw the shower head back on.

Clogged Drain

A collection of soap scum, hair, and foreign objects can easily clog the drain, making it difficult to use the shower without an unwanted buildup of water. If the clog isn’t too severe, you may be able to take care of it yourself. Apply hot water to the drain. Next, mix a solution of ½ a cup of baking soda, 1 cup hot water, and 1 cup white vinegar, and pour it down the drain. Let it sit for about 10 minutes then flush more hot water down the drain.
